Hector: Whew! No wonder they abandoned this place. It stinks!
Randolph: Shh! I hear talking!
--On the rafters, in the shadows, you spot Zarkus and a few other bandits. He is talking with a woman you don't recognize.
?????: I still cannot fathom how they managed to escape from your carefully-laid trap. Lodar's failure is almost unsurprising to me, now. He is certainly on his way to... "retirement". You, however, reassured me that you were different.
Zarkus: I'm sorry, Lady Velka. Even with your aid, they proved too much for me...
Zarkus: And after my defeat, the other bandits thought I had become weak, and began to leave. Velka: Excuses, excuses. The same tripe Lodar spews at me. You really are one in the same.
Velka: If you cannot outperform even Lodar, than our organization has no room for you.
Zarkus: Hold on! Who is that over there!
--Zarkus points over to where you are hiding.
Hector: Oh, crud.
Velka: It seems you have more pressing matters to attend to, Zarkus. Consider this your "second chance".
--The woman Velka steps back into the shadows as the remaining bandits close in on your position.
Hector: Looks like they've got us surrounded. Again.
Zarkus: Ah, so you've decided to visit. Isn't it a little rude to waltz in, uninvited?
Hector: I'm being lectured on manners from a blasted bandit leader?
Randolph: Spill it! What do you want with Hector!
Zarkus: It's not what I want, but what my new friends want. They want Hector, and I'm going to hand him over.
Zarkus: The things they promised me... So far beyond what anyone like me could hope to achieve!
Hector: I don't know exactly what I've done, but I know one thing for sure.
Hector: You've dragged innocent people, my friends, into this. So I'm not holding anything back!
